Creating And Using Laser Cut Stencils
Laser cut stencils are specially designed, bespoke stencils. They are made from high quality logos or artwork files that are usually created using computer image design programs such as photoshop or illustrator.
Laser cut stencils are often used by businesses as they are considered to be a professional standard, this is due in large part to the accurate and clean cuts afforded by the laser cutter that transfers well onto the final image or text. Common examples include product branding, advertising, company logos and marketing stencils.
Stencils can be made using physical images too. This is done by transferring a picture into a digital computer format which is then fed into a laser cutting machine using specialised software, and from that a accurate clean cut stencil based off of the original picture can be created.
Stencils can be created on any material that the laser can cut. This includes Polyester film, acetate, Perspex, acrylic, paper and card, wood as well as various fabrics.
