Delicate Textile Laser Cutting
There are aspects of laser cutting, and it doesn’t always have to be associated with solid metals like steel and aluminium. Laser cutting can work for a wide range of materials, even delicate textiles. You can be forgiven for thinking of laser cutting for big bulky materials, and even the lighter materials such as cardboard, foam and acrylic.
Laser cutting machines can adapt and cut with various strengths, and it can take a lot of practice to get you’re cuts right, especially if you’re using light fabrics. Everyday products such as birthday cards, wedding invitations and even restaurant menus can be cut with a laser cutting machine.
Laser cutting can actually be seen as an art, and the process from the design to the cut itself requires experience, especially if you want to get the cuts you need. But never rule out laser cutting for delicate textiles, because if the setting are adjusted correctly they can give you the finish you desire.
